Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Revelation Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit thecarloszepeda.com (the "Site"), the personal website of Carlos Zepeda, or buy the products and services offered on it.

We wrote it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us and we will explain.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Revelation Inc., 417 S. Associated Rd #1001, Brea, CA 92821, United States. Carlos Zepeda is the Site owner. You can reach us about privacy at any time at [email protected].

The Academy membership sold on this Site is delivered inside the Ace Video platform at getmyace.com, which we also operate. When you use that platform, its own Privacy Policy (https://www.getmyace.com/legal/privacy) also applies.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • Newsletter and blog sign-ups: your email address, and your name if you provide it.
  • Free guide requests (for example, The Claude Playbook at /playbook): your name and email address.
  • Chat assistant: the messages you type into the chat on the Site. If you choose to share them, the assistant can also save your email address, name, industry, and a short summary of what you want help with so Carlos or the team can follow up.
  • Purchases: when you buy through Stripe Checkout, Stripe collects your name, email address, billing address, and payment card details. We receive your name, email, billing details, and what you bought from Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Live events and applications: when registration is open for a live event (such as the Digital Twin Challenge) or an application form, we collect what the form asks for, such as your name, email address, phone number, business details, your answers, and whether you opted in to text messages.
  • Anything you send us by email.

AI Authority Engine (/authority-engine):

  • The Business Brain and campaign details you enter are saved in your own browser (local storage), not in our database. You can export, import, or clear them in the tool.
  • If you use Live Mode with a workshop access code, your inputs are sent to our server and to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate your campaign, and the result is sent back to your browser. We do not save your inputs or the generated campaign in our database. Our server logs technical details about each build, such as how long it took and how much AI processing it used, and uses your IP address briefly to limit abuse.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and log data: your IP address, browser type, pages requested, and referring page are processed by our hosting and network security providers to deliver the Site, keep it secure, stop form abuse (rate limiting), and fix problems.
  • Campaign attribution: if you arrive through a link that carries campaign tracking parameters (UTM tags), we record those parameters, the page you landed on, the referring page, the country derived from your IP address, and a random visitor ID. Two first-party cookies remember the visitor ID (365 days) and the campaign record (30 days) so we can tell which campaign led to a purchase. These cookies are ours alone and are not sent to advertising platforms.
  • Analytics, session replay, advertising measurement, and browser error reports: only if you allow them in the cookie banner. See section 5.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver what you asked for: the guide, the newsletter, answers from the chat assistant, and the Authority Engine.
  • To process payments and provide what you bought, including creating your Ace Video account for the Academy and emailing you a sign-in link, scheduling and delivering consulting sessions, and running the Inner Circle program.
  • To send follow-up emails and newsletters. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To respond to you and to alert Carlos and the team when someone signs up or asks for follow-up. These internal alerts are sent by email and, in some cases, by text message to the Site owner.
  • To understand how the Site is used and improve it, and to measure and improve our advertising, but only with your consent (section 5).
  • To keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

AI processing: we use Anthropic's Claude models to answer chat questions, to power the Authority Engine, and to help draft follow-up emails. Anthropic processes this information on our behalf as a service provider.

4. Text messages

We only send event text messages to people who entered a phone number and checked the text message consent box on a registration form. Consent is optional and is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or email [email protected]. We do not share your mobile number or text message consent with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and your consent choices

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories.

  • Essential (always on): what the Site needs to work and stay secure, such as remembering your cookie choice (saved in your browser's local storage), member sign-in, and our network security provider's protections.
  • Analytics (off unless you allow it): PostHog, which measures how pages are used and can record a session replay with the text you type in form fields masked; and the Meta Pixel, which measures and improves our ads on Facebook and Instagram and sets the _fbp and _fbc cookies. The Meta Pixel does not load at all until you allow Analytics.
  • Errors (off unless you allow it): Sentry crash reports from your browser, which can include a short replay of the moments before an error.
  • Campaign attribution cookies: the two first-party cookies described in section 2.
  • Browser storage: the chat assistant keeps your conversation in your browser for the current tab session, and the Authority Engine keeps your Business Brain in local storage.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie Settings" link in the Site footer or the button below. If you withdraw consent, the Meta Pixel stops sending data and its cookies are removed.

Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a choice to reject Analytics and Errors, and the Meta Pixel does not load.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, only as needed for them to do that work:

  • Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Supabase: our database, member sign-in, and file storage.
  • Railway: application hosting.
  • Cloudflare: domain, network delivery, and security, including bot protection on some registration forms.
  • Resend: email delivery.
  • Twilio: text messages.
  • Anthropic: AI processing for the chat assistant, the Authority Engine, and email drafting.
  • CourseCreator360: our CRM, where we keep contact and lead records.
  • Google: calendar scheduling for booked sessions.
  • PostHog: site analytics and session replay, only with your consent.
  • Sentry: error monitoring (browser error reports only with your consent).
  • Meta Platforms: advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel, only with your consent, and the Meta Conversions API, described below.

Meta Conversions API: when you register for a live event or make a related purchase, our server can send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, phone number, and name, along with your IP address, browser details, and Meta cookie IDs, so Meta can match the event to our ads. We honor your cookie choice and any Global Privacy Control signal for this.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

7. California privacy rights

We are based in California. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), gives you the rights below.

Categories of personal information we have collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (name, email address, phone number, IP address, cookie and visitor IDs); customer records (billing address); commercial information (purchases and subscriptions); internet activity (pages viewed and, with consent, analytics and session replays); approximate location (country derived from IP address); and professional information you share in applications or chat. We collect it from you, from your browser, and from Stripe, for the purposes in section 3, and disclose it to the service providers in section 6.

Selling and sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. Using the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure and improve our ads may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA, and in some readings a "sale." You can opt out at any time by rejecting Analytics in the cookie banner or Cookie Settings, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.

Sensitive personal information: we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose that gives you a right to limit it under the CCPA.

Your rights: you can ask to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

How to make a request: email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy Request." We verify requests by matching the email address and details we have on file. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your signed permission. We respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time as the law allows.

8. Your choices and rights everywhere

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of text messages.
  • Change your cookie choices at any time with Cookie Settings.
  • Ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing [email protected].

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: performing a contract with you (purchases and memberships), our legitimate interests (running and securing the Site and following up on inquiries), your consent (analytics, advertising cookies, error reports, and marketing where consent is required), and legal obligations (tax and accounting records). You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

We are based in the United States and process information in the United States. By using the Site, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

9. How long we keep information

  • Contact, lead, and chat records: until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them for the purposes above.
  • Purchase, billing, and tax records: as long as tax, accounting, and other laws require.
  • Campaign attribution cookies: 365 days (visitor ID) and 30 days (campaign record).
  • Information saved in your browser (cookie choice, chat session, Authority Engine data): until you clear it, and chat history ends when you close the tab.

10. Children

The Site and our products are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable service providers, and payment card data is handled by Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site and the law change. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will give additional notice, such as a notice on the Site or an email.
